Welcome to the Warlock3 Project, a website dedicated to the creation of the best Warlock class Destroyer model out there. I am trying to create a model with the greatest accuracy possible, my greatest work. I am taking my time in creating this model and I expect it to take at least a month. I also plan to make the creation of this model a special annual event in the Babylon 5 modeling community. Every year I will celebrate "the Days of Warlock" (beginning on the September 27th and ending on the completion date of the model) by releasing new renderings of the model, done by me or others who have downloaded my model. On this page I will outline my progress as I go along as well as allow others to comment on how my model is lacking in accuracy, or just wrong. If you see a problem visit http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/33727 to leave your comments. More details on progress can be found on the Progress Diagram

I started to model on September 27 and I have now finished the Omega style engineering section. As you can see, I have tried to make every detail as close to the model as possible, though it is hard to do with low resolution pictures. If you can see any flaws visit http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/33727, any help would be appreciated. |

I've been working on the Omega style engine thrusters for 2 days and I've finished the modeling. It isn't textured or mapped yet, so the details are hard to see, but the basic form is still visible. The thrusters have been somewhat simplified to fit the Warlock's adaptations of the engines, but the prevalent details are still there. |

After 7 days without modling (waiting for a response for a question), I began again. I finished integrating the Omega style engine thrusters into the Warlock's engine block. I then began work on the side panels from the engine block. I added all of the details that I could see, but if you know of any more you can, please visit http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/33727. |

After uploading the data about the side panels, I finished my work on the drive block, adding the two additional engine thruster pods. It took a while to get the proportions to look right, but I think that I have them accurate. |

I haven't been able to do much work on the model for about a week due to excessive school work, but I got back to modling today. I completed the work on the recovery bay that I started on the 11th. Now I had to play around with the model a little to get the proportions right, but I think that I have done it accrately.

I've done a little work over the week. I fixed the scaling of the engineering section so that it is shorter. I also finished modling the repair bay section of the Warlock. I am now ready to begin the main body now. If you see any problems please point them out at http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/33727. |

After 5 hours of work, I finished the command superstructure. I had to completely rescale it twice, but it looks correct to me. If you see anything missing or out of place, just report it at http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/33727. |

I've completed my work on the missile pods. I also started work on the side panels of the main body, but lost 1.5 hours of work in a crash. |

After reworking several maps necessary for the EA embolem and the name plate (which is now easily customizable), I began to slowly work on the side panel extrusions. I've already completed most of them, all that is left is the forward insloping section. |

I've completed most of the main body section. All that is left to add is one plasma cannon, one rail gun and the side panel extrusions for the forward insloping section. |

I had to take about a week off of modeling for tests in most of my courses. I finally got back to modeling today and solved a little problem I had with the forward insloping section. I also placed the side panels along the forward insloping section. |

After a couple of weeks without working on the model due to exams and the holodays, I finally got back to modeling today. I have finally finished the main body section. I still hope to have the modeling finished by my expected release date of January 1st and release the files in early January. |

I've just completed modeling the docking area. I found it a little bit difficult because it is hard to interpret which details were real and which were the effects of lighting and shadows. I beleive that I have accurately depicted all of the details in my model. I am nearing completion of modeling and I am sure that I can finish modeling by January 1st and I may even have the model ready for release by then. |

I've almost finished modling. The main structure is complete and all that I have to do is replace the miniature plasma cannons with Olympus style cannons (as I am told they are by Tim Earls). Otherwise all I have to do is add the lights and helpers to the model before it is totaly finished. |
